No, a referral is not required to make an appointment. While we gladly accept referrals from other providers, patients are welcome to contact our office directly and schedule an appointment on their own.
We accept most commercial insurance plans, as well as West Virginia Medicaid. For patients without insurance or those seeking additional flexibility, we also offer affordable self-pay options. If you have questions about your specific insurance coverage, please contact our office and we’ll be happy to help.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice. We understand that unexpected situations happen and are happy to work with patients when notice is given. Please note that patients who do not show up for their initial appointment without contacting our office may not be rescheduled.
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger of harming yourself or others, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department right away. You can also contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988 for immediate support, available 24/7.
